Product Updates [March 2024]

March brought big updates to the Activity View within the Main Schedule View, including badge numbers and an expanded activity view with colors and icons.

Activity View Enhancements (Part II)

Some agencies rely on the Activity View mode to best display their schedule. We have been working on a few features to make this a more useful mode.

In the Main Schedule View, click on the Gear settings icon and select View Mode > By Activity.

Both “Show Badge Numbers” and “Expanded Activity View” are display options that can be enabled.

Show Badge Numbers

This will display the badge numbers before the name if they are entered into the Employee detail. Only four characters will be displayed and the remainder will be cut off.

Expanded Activity View

This view will enable some extra visual features including showing an icon before the name if there is a change, plus graying out the name in some cases.

Updated: Activity Day View

Each day has icons and badge numbers to help you identify who is working and if they are on overtime, day off, etc.

When you click the day, it shows the details for that day:

Adding New Employees to the Open Shift Pool

When you send an Open Shift out to a pool, employees in that pool receive a notification and are ‘eligible’ to take that shift.

We’ve now added a feature where when you add new employees to an Open Shift Pool, they will also be ‘eligible’ to take the previously sent out shifts.
