Eric Wiinanen

Co-Founder & Sales Director

Eric is the co-founder and Sales Director of Hero Schedule. He manages sales, customer support, and develops relationships with first responder agencies all over the United States. Eric is a retired law enforcement officer.

Eric has 20 years of law enforcement experience in North Dakota. He worked as a patrol officer and D.A.R.E. officer. Eric also took marketing and webmaster roles in his time with the West Fargo Police Department, including web design, portrait photography, and event photography for the City of West Fargo.

Hero Schedule has its roots in the early 2000's when the West Fargo Police Department needed a solution to paper and pen scheduling. Eric and co-founder Jason Pettys designed software from scratch to fulfill this need. The product was intended to be customizable and modular, giving Hero Schedule the ability to scale to other agencies.

Eric is also the owner of Bluestem Media, a web design agency out of Navarre, Florida.
