Product Updates [December 2024]
Our development team is wrapping up a big year of product improvements to the platform with one final product update for the year.
Minimum Staffing Alerts
This feature allows agencies to create alerts when there is a staffing shortfall. Any time a preset minimum shift rule is violated, an alert will be created on the schedule. Alerts are displayed as a negative number, indicating the shift shortage for the day.
Improved Export to NEOGOV
We improved reporting and pay period configuration with our NEOGOV platform integration.
Display FLSA Work Periods & Pay Periods on Time Cards
Added the ability to show FLSA boundaries and pay periods on time cards. The FLSA boundaries are enabled via a checkmark on the Select Time Cards to View page.
Supporting On-Call Configuration
We added the ability to have on-call employees to the schedule, along with custom tracking of on-call hours.
Conclusion
2024 was a good year for updates and improvements to the Hero Schedule platform. We are looking forward to next year, with some huge updates in the works. Reach out if you have any questions at all! Happy New Year!
